Dr Yusuf Alshafi is actively involved in postgraduate education and is an experienced teacher in implant dentistry and oral surgery through structured programmes, hands-on surgical courses and clinical mentoring. He is a regular contributor to professional publications and clinical literature within the field of implant dentistry and is committed to advancing evidence-based practice.
He graduated from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute in 2007 and completed an MSc in Dental Implants in 2018. He undertook hospital training as a Senior House Officer in Oral Surgery and Restorative Dentistry at Guy’s Hospital and obtained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
His academic and teaching work is informed by a broad clinical background encompassing advanced implant and surgical procedures.

Dr Raid is highly regarded for his expertise in implant dentistry, not only as a practitioner but also as an educator. He is involved in teaching implant dentistry both in the UK and internationally, sharing his knowledge and passion with other dental professionals.
Dr Ali completed his dental degree in Baghdad, Iraq, in 1996. After moving to the UK, he completed his International Qualifying Exams (IQE) in 2006. His commitment to professional growth led him to earn membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgeons (MFDS) at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2010, followed by a postgraduate diploma at Cardiff University to enhance his skills further.
His passion for implant dentistry continues to drive his development, and he is pursuing a master’s degree in implantology to build on his extensive experience.
Dr Fazeela Khan-Osborne

Principles of Bone Grafting (Pigs Head Practical)
Fazeela has been Principal of a general dental practice in London for 25 years, and has a special interest in full mouth rehabilitation (both surgical and restorative). Initially graduating with a BSc in Medical Biochemistry and Physiology from Queen Mary University, she qualified as a dentist at the Royal Hospital London in 1994 and undertook training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. She holds a Diploma in Restorative Dental Practice and an MSc in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal London, and completed the FGDP(UK) Diploma in Implant Dentistry, later becoming a lead tutor. Founding Course Lead of the One to One Implant Education programme, she teaches and lectures on implant dentistry worldwide. She also sits on the Executive Council of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, and is Immediate Past President of the London Dental Fellowship, a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a member of the Association of Dental Implantology. She was elected to represent College members in Central London in 2024.
Dr Lee Feinberg

Lee is specialist in dental and maxillofacial radiology and works as a consultant dental and maxillofacial radiologist at Kings College Hospital, London and at the Eastman Dental Hospital, University College London Hospitals. He is currently the honorary secretary of the British Society of Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology.
He graduated as a dentist from the University of Bristol. Prior to commencing specialist training he worked in both dental practice and the hospital setting. He gained experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, oral medicine and oral pathology. He completed his specialist training in Liverpool being trained by both dental and maxillofacial and ENT/head and neck radiologists. He has clinical experience reporting radiographs, CBCT, CT and MRI examinations. He performs specialist salivary gland imaging, diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided biopsies of the head and neck region.
He is passionate about education and holds a formal qualification in learning and teaching in higher education. He lectures regularly to postgraduate dental professionals. He is an honorary senior clinical lecturer at King’s College London where he is actively involved in undergraduate teaching in dental radiology.
Dr Nibras Alnaimi

Nibras is a highly experienced and accomplished dentist with a diverse range of qualifications and expertise. Graduating in 2000, he has built an extensive career primarily in the private sector, both in the UK and abroad. His practice encompasses many aspect of dentistry, with a particular focus on implant, restorative and aesthetic (cosmetic) dentistry, including complex procedures like full mouth rehabilitation and endodontics.
In 2009, Nibras underwent training in dental sedation at Newcastle University, enabling him to provide treatment under intra-venous sedation. He is now a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD) and the British Society of Prosthodontics, Furthermore, Nibras is certified as an Invisalign provider since 2010, and has successfully treated numerous patients with Invisalign, as well as offering Clearcorrect aligners and Spark aligners.
His academic achievements are noteworthy, including a Master’s degree in Dental Implantology from Cardiff University with merit, a diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF RCS(Eng)), and current Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons (England) (MFDS RCS(Eng)). He also holds the distinction of being an Associate Fellow of the College of General Dentistry (AssociatFCGDent) and has obtained another Master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry from Birmingham University Dental School with distinction.
To maintain the highest standards in his practice, Nibras consistently stays up-to-date with the latest techniques and advancements in dentistry by attending relevant courses. He also shares his knowledge by giving talks and lectures at both national and international levels on various subjects in dentistry in addition to being a reviewer for some international dental journals, in addition to being a clinical teaching tutor at the Sheffield University Dental School. Nibras is a dentist with a remarkable portfolio of qualifications and a commitment to excellence in patient care and professional development.

Principle of Occlusion in Implant Dentistry
Dr. Riaz Yar graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1999. After spending some time in general practice Dr Riaz set up his own practice in 2003 before gaining MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 2005. Following this in 2008 Riaz completed an MPhil in restorative dentistry and in 2011 completed a 4-year long M Pros Dent mono-specialty training in Prosthodontics at the University of Manchester. In addition, Riaz is also an Internal examiner for the Membership of Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons England and an Internal examiner for the Overseas Registration Exam and License in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons England. As well as completing the specialty prosthodontic training, Riaz has undertaken a Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies (DPDS) with the University of Bristol and a Diploma in Implant Dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Dr Yar lectures nationally and internationally and is a keen advocate of postgraduate teaching and this is evident with the setting up of RED (Restorative Education of the Dental Team) Square – providing a MSc in Restorative Dentistry with University of Chester for which he was program director for 4 years. Dr Yar has most recently completed his Masters in Soft Tissue around Implants and Teeth with Professor Zucchelli (Bologna) and completing his PG Cert in Education. His main topic of interest is TMD and Occlusion and he runs courses nationally and internationally and he is a Specialty Dentist in TMD at Manchester Dental Hospital.
Dr Salam Pirmohammed

Salman graduated with Honours from King’s College London in 2016. He went on to complete specialist training in Prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital, graduated with distinction and achieved the Membership in Prosthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and England in 2023.
Salman was awarded the Tyson Medal at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh for the most meritorious performance in the Membership in Prosthodontics Examinations of the College in the UK.
His work spans both clinical practice and teaching, where he has mentored and trained other dentists both nationally and internationally.Salman is committed to providing patient-centred care, ensuring that each individual feels comfortable and confident throughout their treatment journey. His ethical approach to treatment planning is paired with attention to detail, ensuring that every patient receives tailored and effective care. Salman has a strong focus on restorative dentistry, with particular expertise in implant dentistry. His practice centres on tooth replacement, management of tooth wear, and performing smile makeovers.
Salman is deeply involved in charitable initiatives, having participated in dental missions with the Global Kindness Foundation to provide care to underserved communities. He also organises annual dental screenings in North London and contributes to patient education through video content for non-profit organisations.
Dr Aly Virani

Aly Virani is an accomplished implant dentist whose practice focuses exclusively on the placement and restoration of dental implants. A Cardiff University graduate, Aly holds a Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, a Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and an MSc in Clinical Oral Implantology from Ulster University. He is proud to have been invited to be an Associate Fellow of the College of General Dentistry (UK). From 2013-2019, Aly served as a Clinical Research Fellow and Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Bristol Dental Hospital, where he contributed to undergraduate teaching in Periodontology and the Master’s Programme in Implantology. He has also held leadership roles as an ambassador for the Young ITI (International Team for Implantology) and as a board member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), representing Wales. Aly has a special interest in full arch immediate loading (also known as “All-on-X,” full-mouth implant treatment, or “teeth in a day”) and complex digital workflows. This expertise has led him to become a Key Opinion Leader for leading innovators in implant dentistry, including Southern Implants, Shining 3D, Claronav Dental, W&H, and Osstell. He frequently lectures at national and international conferences and mentors fellow clinicians across the UK. In his role as Clinical Director, Aly values a holistic, patient-centred approach, tailoring treatment plans to each individual. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of restorative dentists, he offers comprehensive care that addresses both aesthetic and functional needs under one roof.
In 2023, Aly was honoured as Young Dentist of the Year. His practice has also won multiple awards, including Best Implant Dentistry Practice (South United Kingdom) in both 2022 and 2023, Best Practice (Wales) in 2022, and Best Cosmetic & General Dentistry Practice (Cardiff) in 2022. While these accolades reflect his commitment to excellence, Aly values the trust and positive feedback from his patients as the truest measure of success.
Dr Hatem Algraffee

Hatem Algraffee qualified as a dentist from the Royal London Hospital in 1996. In 2004 he completed four-year specialist training at Guys Hospital/Kings College achieving two Master degrees.
Since 2004 Hatem has been involved in undergraduate and teaching and has over 20 years teaching experience at all levels. He is passionate and dedicated to teaching and this is reflected in the amount of time committed to mentoring colleagues both during and after completing PerioAcademy courses.
He believes in delivering teaching excellence and to create a relaxed atmosphere to maximize learning. His emphasis is on practical teaching, repetition and then planning cases jointly. Long term mentoring is emphasized to reflect on progress and refinement of skills.
Hatem works in private practice approximately four days a week with remaining time dedicated to Perio Academy teaching and mentoring colleagues.
Dr Selvaraj Balaji

Since Dr Balaji obtained his BDS Degree, he has worked in Maxillo facial units in the UK for several years and gained substantial experience in surgical dentistry.
For the past 16 years Dr Balaji has been working in his private dental practice, which is based in Buckingham. He is a founder of ASHA (Academy of Soft and Hard Tissue Augmentation). At present his practice is only focused on dental implants and Regeneration techniques.
Dr Balaji has placed a few thousand dental implants to date over the last 15 years. He has travelled around the world to develop his skills and worked with world-renowned implant surgeons. He completed 2 year Master Program in Soft Tissue Around Teeth And Implants in university of Bologna with Prof Giovanni Zucchelli, Full curriculum of autogenous bone grating technique with Prof F Khoury in Germany, Advanced surgical Master Curriculum Regenerative Implant Dentistry with Istvan Urban in Budapest, TMJ and occlusion curriculum with Peter Dawson in USA and Implant curriculum with Dr Hilt Tatum in London.
He routinely mentors other dentists using the latest skills and techniques. Dr Balaji has an enduring passion and commitment to his work, teaching and keeping up to date with the latest surgical innovations and research to ensure his patients are receiving the best possible care and his practice.
Dr Zaid Esmail
Specialist Orthodontist

Zaid’s studied Dentistry at University of Liverpool, where he graduated with honours. Recognised for his exceptional skills and thirst for knowledge, he embarked on further specialist training in Orthodontics at Guy’s Hospital and Brighton, culminating in the completion of his orthodontic training and was awarded a distinction in his MSc.
Currently serving as the Clinical Lead of Grosvenor House Orthodontics in Tunbridge Wells, Zaid is a fulltime practicing orthodontist who starts over 700 cases each year. He is therefore able to pass on his real-world orthodontic experience to treat patients in a pragmatic manner. Zaid has lectured around the world and has a passion for teaching, he has mentored many dentists and newly-qualified orthodontists. This has led him to establish the Online Orthodontic Academy to help dentists around the world to not just learn orthodontic techniques but be able to confidently diagnose and treat their own patients by offering them all available options.
Zaid’s commitment to advancing orthodontics goes beyond his clinical practice. He has also made significant contributions to the field through his invention, the Esmail Eruptor. A novel method to increase the efficiency of aligning partially erupted teeth.
