HANDS-ON FULL ARCH SURGERY
Join an intensive, hands-on Full Arch Implant Course in Tijuana, Mexico on 7th, 8th & 9th May 2026, designed for clinicians who want real surgical experience—not just observation. Over three immersive days, each delegate will surgically place 3 full arches and assist in a further 3, gaining invaluable confidence in full-arch workflow, surgical decision-making, and efficiency on live patients under expert supervision.

BASIC IMPLANTOLOGY COURSE

Next, you’ll move to the hands-on component in the UK, where you’ll practice on models and pig heads, allowing you to develop practical techniques in a controlled environment. Finally, the course culminates in a unique opportunity for real-world experience with five clinical days in Baghdad, Iraq, where you’ll place implants on actual patients under expert supervision.

Immediate Implantology Course
Our Advanced Immediate Implantology Course in Cardiff is a highly focused, three-day program designed for experienced practitioners looking to expand their skills in immediate implant placement and restoration.
The course begins with in-depth lectures covering the theory and protocols behind immediate implants, followed by two clinical days where delegates will have the opportunity to place implants in live patients.
In many cases, delegates will also be able to immediately restore these implants, providing valuable experience in both placement and prosthetic techniques. Each delegate will have the chance to manage at least two cases, ensuring hands-on experience and personalized learning.

Dr Raid and Dr Yusuf have been friends and colleagues since 2010 and together they bring a wealth of expertise in dental implantology to their teaching. Based in Cardiff and London, respectively, both have dedicated their clinical practices exclusively to dental implants, honing their skills and knowledge to the highest level.
With many years of experience both in clinical practice and in education, Dr Raid and Dr Yusuf have taught dental professionals across the UK and internationally. Their passion for implantology and commitment to advancing the field through education have made them sought-after instructors, respected for their ability to make complex concepts accessible and practical.
Now, as they unite their expertise to deliver these comprehensive implant courses, you will benefit from their combined knowledge, real-world insights and a teaching style that emphasises both technique and patient care. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your implant skills, you can be confident that you’re learning from two of the leading experts in the field.
Dr Raid Ali
Dr Raid is highly regarded for his expertise in implant dentistry, not only as a practitioner but also as an educator. He is involved in teaching implant dentistry both in the UK and internationally, sharing his knowledge and passion with other dental professionals.
As one of the principals of Restore Dental Group, Dr Ali has been part of the business for over 11 years, serving as a principal for nearly 8 of those years. He considers his role one of the most fulfilling aspects of his career and takes pride in being part of a dedicated and exceptional team, witnessing the business grow from strength to strength.
Dr Ali completed his dental degree in Baghdad, Iraq, in 1996. After moving to the UK, he completed his International Qualifying Exams (IQE) in 2006. His commitment to professional growth led him to earn membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgeons (MFDS) at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2010, followed by a postgraduate diploma at Cardiff University to enhance his skills further.
His passion for implant dentistry continues to drive his development, and he is pursuing a master’s degree in implantology to build on his extensive experience.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Ali is happily married with four children—three daughters and a son—who keep his home life vibrant and busy. He is also deeply committed to charitable work, participating in events like charity runs and supporting refugee camps, including the one in Calais, with the help of his supportive colleagues.
Dr Yusuf Alshafi
Dr Yusuf Alshafi is actively involved in postgraduate education and is an experienced teacher in implant dentistry and oral surgery through structured programmes, hands-on surgical courses and clinical mentoring. He is a regular contributor to professional publications and clinical literature within the field of implant dentistry and is committed to advancing evidence-based practice.
He graduated from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute in 2007 and completed an MSc in Dental Implants in 2018. He undertook hospital training as a Senior House Officer in Oral Surgery and Restorative Dentistry at Guy’s Hospital and obtained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
His academic and teaching work is informed by a broad clinical background encompassing advanced implant and surgical procedures.
